Mary the Queen Academy of Pampanga (MQAP), formerly Little David Integrated Montessori Center (LDIMC), is a stock corporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and is operated by a Board of Trustees. It had very simple beginnings. It was in June 2000 that LDIMC was formally opened at a house in a 700 sq. meter property in J. Nepomuceno Street, Villa Victoria, Dolores, City of San Fernando. The school started with only 43 pupils and since then, the total number of students increased. LDIMC has earned its Government recognition to operate its pre-school department in June of 2002.

With the steady growth in the school population, LDIMC has to move to a bigger campus in 2004. The new school location is the former site of Don Bosco Academy, in Cabalantian, Bacolor, Pampanga. With a new campus, the school adopted a new name as Mary the Queen Academy of Pampanga (MQAP).

To understand the spirit of MQAP – its origin, its mission and vision – it is fundamental to comprehend its credo, “Magnificat anima mea Dominum” or “My soul doth magnify the Lord”.

Inspired by the Canticles of the Blessed Virgin Mary – “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my Spirit rejoices in God, my Savior. For He has looked upon His handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on all ages will call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, and Holy is His name. His mercy is from age to age to those who fear Him” (Luke 1:46-50). The school was named “Mary the Queen Academy of Pampanga” in honor of the Blessed Mother. Mary is no extraordinary person. Born of Joachim and Anne of the House of David, Mary lived a very simple life. She was obedient, pure, holy, gracious and kind. The true picture of a Model Christian, she spent her life living the virtues of faith, hope and charity, always and in everything, seeing, loving and carrying out fully the will of God.

The school believes that all authentic devotion to the Blessed Mother is truly Christian, insofar as it takes its origin and effectiveness from Christ and finds its complete expression in Christ and leads through Christ in the Spirit of the Father. Mary is considered to be the perfect Christian; therefore, should be emulated by all Christians.

It is the primary mission of Mary the Queen Academy to guide, understand and practice Maryqueenian values. Imitating all the virtues lived by Mary, our children will be able to live their lives in Eternal Praise of God.
